Ukraine Celebrates Unity Day — 22 January
This day stands for unity, strength and shared responsibility for the future of our country.
On 22 January 1919, the Act of Unification was proclaimed, bringing together the Ukrainian People’s Republic and the West Ukrainian People’s Republic. This historic event marked an important step toward a united and independent Ukraine and reminds us that true strength is only possible when people stand together.
Today, unity is more important than ever. Ukrainians around the world — both in Ukraine and abroad — are connected by shared values, mutual support and belief in victory. Despite distance, hardship and uncertainty, we remain one people, united by one heart and a single common purpose.
The IvAlive Charitable Foundation works every day to support Ukrainian families, children and communities in need. We believe that real unity is shown not only in words, but in actions — through care, solidarity and responsibility for one another.
On this meaningful day for our country, we truly believe that our shared efforts, unity and strong belief will help make the deepest wish of every Ukrainian come true — victory and a peaceful future for the next generations.
