St. Nicholas Day: The Magic That Brings Us Together

Stories about St. Nicholas always bring warm memories and a sense of festive cheer. They remind us of those special moments when children find gifts tucked under their pillows, while twinkling Christmas lights and holiday songs fill the air with magic.

On December 14, we set out to recreate this magical atmosphere during a special celebration for children. Working hand in hand with the Ukraine Centre in Lausanne, and with the generous support of the Ukraine Reborn team, who provided beautiful Christmas trees, and Atelier Fleurs, we transformed the space into a fairy-tale wonderland. Our goal was to ensure every child could feel the true spirit of the holidays.

Over 200 smiling children joined us for a day filled with joyful moments. They sang along to Christmas carols performed by the talented IvAlive children’s choir and experienced a program packed with energy and positivity.
