From 24 to 26 July 2026, Nendaz (Canton of Valais) will host the International Alphorn Festival — one of Switzerland’s best-known folk events, bringing together musicians, folk groups, and thousands of visitors from around the world every year.

The highlight of the festival is the Sunday grand finale concert at the Tracouet mountain station, 2,200 metres above sea level. Here, more than 150 alphorn players will perform together, creating a unique musical experience in the heart of the Swiss Alps.

Over the three festival days, visitors can also enjoy:

• an alphorn competition;

• a large folk parade;

• performances by yodellers, dance groups, and traditional music ensembles;

• a traditional crafts market;

• workshops and entertainment for the whole family.

Ticket prices depend on the day and the programme, ranging from CHF 15 to CHF 25 for adults and up to CHF 13 for children.

No advance registration is required. Simply come to Nendaz. Tickets for the Friday concert and Saturday festival events can be purchased on the festival’s official website.
