Chess Classes at the IvAlive Educational Center
Starting July 15, the IvAlive Educational Development Center is offering free chess classes for children aged 6 to 12.
Chess is more than just a game — it’s a powerful way to boost logical thinking, creativity, focus and decision-making skills. While learning to play, kids can:
• improve their memory and attention;
• develop logical and creative thinking;
• become more confident in making their own decisions;
• learn to stay focused and manage their emotions.
Plus, it’s an opportunity to have fun and make new friends!
🔹 Who: children aged 6–12
🔹 Group size: up to 8 kids
🔹 Level: beginner-friendly
🕒 When: 15 July, 15:00–16:00.
📍 Where: Chemin des Saugettes 1, Ecublens (IvAlive Center)
💰 Cost: free
The class will be led by Zoya Shevchenko. Zoya has been passionate about chess since she was five years old! She studied at the «Avangard» Republican Chess and Checkers School in Kyiv and also organized a children's chess tournament in Aigle.
