Just before Vyshyvanka Day, our team took a very special trip — behind the scenes of Europe’s biggest music event, Eurovision. It was more than just a visit — it became a true celebration, one our children will carry in their hearts for a lifetime.

Wearing their vyshyvankas and singing with joy, the children from our choir and band quickly won over the crowd. Guests and participants stopped to take photos, smile, and connect. We weren’t just attending Eurovision — we became part of it. It was a powerful moment when Ukrainian culture, children’s openness, and music brought people from all over the world together.

One of the most exciting parts of the day was meeting the team representing Ukraine at Eurovision — the band Ziferblat — in Basel, Switzerland. Our kids performed the band’s contest song with them. They also got autographs, took photos, and shared warm hugs. Earlier, the choir had even recorded their own version of the song in support of Ziferblat — you can watch the video on our social media.

Another unforgettable moment came when our choir unexpectedly went live on Suspilne TV. The voices of young Ukrainians were heard by millions of viewers. What a powerful message from children who, despite war and displacement, still dream, create, and believe in a better tomorrow.

Eurovision Village, interactive photo zones, table football, prize draws, and musical performances — the children fully immersed themselves in the festival atmosphere. And to wrap it all up? One last "adventure" in every child's favorite spot — a group order at McDonald's for 60 people, including 37 Happy Meals. It was the perfect, fun ending to an already magical day.

We returned home tired but full of joy, pride, and inspiration. This day reminded us that music can heal, connect, and keep our hope alive.

A heartfelt thank-you to everyone who helped make this incredible day happen. Together, we keep creating stories that celebrate Ukraine and share its spirit with the world.
