Ukrainian Music in the Heart of Lausanne: An Evening of Unity and Culture

On 22 August, Lausanne hosted a concert organized by Together Association, bringing together the Ukrainian community and friends of Ukraine for another warm and special evening. The performers included the IvAlive choir and the NO NAME band.

That evening, Ukrainian music filled the heart of Lausanne. The voices of our children and teenagers caught the attention of passers-by: people stopped, smiled, filmed the performances on their phones, and some even sang along to familiar Ukrainian songs.

It was especially meaningful to see Ukrainians among the audience who had come to support our young performers, hear songs that remind them of home, and, even if only for a few hours, feel the special feeling of warmth, connection, and unity that Ukrainian culture brings.

For IvAlive, music and culture are an important way to stay connected to our homeland, support Ukrainian children and young people, and help the international community discover Ukraine through its traditions, creativity, and people.

We sincerely thank everyone who joined us that day. Thank you for being there, for your applause, your support, and the genuine warmth. Moments like these remind us how strongly Ukrainian culture brings us together, no matter where we live today.

And if you couldn’t join us this time, we hope to see you at our next concert. Ukrainian songs will certainly fill the streets of Lausanne again!
