On August 24, Ukraine celebrates the 35th anniversary of its independence — a day that reminds us of the strength of the Ukrainian people, our resilience, and our right to decide our own future.

Independence did not begin in 1991. That year, Ukraine reclaimed its place as a sovereign country — something that has been an integral part of its history and identity for centuries.

From generation to generation, Ukrainians pass on the things that shape us as a nation: our culture and traditions, our history, our love for our homeland, the value of freedom, and the courage to stand up for what is ours.

Today, independence is not just a chapter in history. It is a daily choice made by millions of people: to defend, support, create, preserve Ukrainian culture, and pass it on to future generations.

It is thanks to the people who continue to fight, work, help, and rebuild Ukraine that our independence remains strong and continues to take on new meaning.

On behalf of the entire IvAlive Foundation team, we sincerely congratulate you on the 35th anniversary of Ukraine’s independence!

We wish you strength, unity, and faith in the future of our country. Above all, we wish for our shared dream to come true: victory, peace, and a free Ukraine.
