Guided Tour of MUDAC Musée for Children and Adults with IvAlive

On 24 July, we invite children and adults to join us for an engaging guided tour of MUDAC Musée in Lausanne, where a major exhibition is dedicated to the work of the renowned Japanese animation director and producer Isao Takahata.

Isao Takahata is one of the most influential figures in world animation and a co-founder of the legendary Studio Ghibli. His films are known for their emotional depth, humanity, and distinctive artistic style, which have left a lasting mark on the world of anime.

His best-known works include Grave of the Fireflies, widely regarded as one of the greatest animated films ever made. Other celebrated works include Heidi, Girl of the Alps, Only Yesterday, and the Academy Award-nominated The Tale of the Princess Kaguya.

During the tour, participants will see original sketches, storyboards, archival materials, and clips from these iconic films. They will also discover more about Takahata's creative journey and the process of bringing his world-famous animated masterpieces to life.

Please note: If you are unable to attend after registering, please let the organisers know at least 24 hours before the tour begins. If you do not attend without notifying the organisers in advance, a CHF 10 organisational fee will be charged to help cover the costs of organising the tour.
