The First Book Presentation at the KnygAlive Library

We transformed our space into a cosy, intimate room — with soft warm light, candles, an old typewriter, and books everywhere. It all created an atmosphere of comfort, tenderness, and inspiration.

Author Oleksandra Kostina talked about her creative and professional journey. She spoke about self-love, the power of dreams, the importance of listening to your inner child, and giving yourself permission to start over. She presented her debut poetry collection and read poems about love, faith, pain, and renewal — and everyone in the room found something meaningful for themselves in her words.

The emotions were strong: some people sat quietly, others wiped away tears. Everyone listened with an open heart.

After the reading, guests asked questions, enjoyed a glass of sparkling wine with the author, and took home signed copies of her book — a warm memory from this special evening.

And we have good news: one copy of the book has stayed in our library, so each of you will have the chance to discover these honest and heartfelt poems.
