Exhibition in Switzerland Marking the Anniversary of the Chernobyl Disaster by IvAlive
Over three days, this exhibition in Switzerland, dedicated to honoring the victims of the Chernobyl disaster, became a space for remembrance, dialogue, and real human connection.
Visitors stopped by the display, looked closely at archival photographs, and learned about the lives of people affected by the tragedy of 1986. It was especially meaningful to see older visitors share their memories with children and explaining why it is important to remember these events.

Many guests were interested not only in the history of Chernobyl, but also in the current situation in Ukraine. For us, this was another reminder of how important it is today to speak the truth, preserve memory, and stay in open dialogue.

We were also glad to hear that many visitors were already familiar with other IvAlive Foundation initiatives, including the exhibition by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine dedicated to the anniversary of the full-scale invasion.
We sincerely thank the Kyiv branch of the National Union of Journalists of Ukraine and its central office for their partnership and support. We are also grateful to the Ukrainian journalists and witnesses of the tragedy who, despite the risks to their lives and health, preserved the truth for future generations. Special thanks to all volunteers, visitors, and everyone who contributed to organizing and hosting this exhibition.
