Event Marking the Anniversary of the Chernobyl disaster
The Chernobyl disaster is one of the most painful tragedies in Ukraine’s history. It changed the lives of thousands of people and continues to remind us of the cost of human error and the importance of responsibility.
Behind this tragedy are the stories of liquidators, doctors, firefighters, journalists and residents of Pripyat — stories of courage, self-sacrifice, and lives split into “before” and “after.”
On 25 April, we will gather at the IvAlive Educational Development Center to honour the victims and to share this memory with our children — through understanding, open discussion, and creativity.
Programme:
— Interactive talk by Vira Ostashchuk
— Creative workshop for children: creating a themed collage
