On 7 November, Ecublens will host Ukrainian Day as part of the international Tour du Monde project. It’s a wonderful opportunity to introduce the international community to Ukraine, its rich cultural heritage, traditions, art and cuisine.

The IvAlive Foundation invites young people aged 13–25 to join an exciting programme of interactive activities and discover Ukrainian culture through crafts, cooking, music and shared activities.

Here's what participants can look forward to:

• A workshop on making traditional Ukrainian varenyky (dumplings);

• Making beaded bracelets;

• Decorating eco-friendly tote bags;

• Tasting traditional Ukrainian dishes;

• Discovering Ukrainian music and dance;

• A Ukrainian fair;

• A unique mix of breakdancing and traditional hopak dance moves.

This event is a chance not only to try something new and get creative but also to learn more about Ukrainian culture, meet new people, make friends and take part in an international cultural exchange.

We encourage everyone to bring their friends, regardless of their background or nationality. After all, events like this bring people closer together, help break down cultural barriers and encourage curiosity about different cultures and their traditions.
