The IvAlive Book Club visited the photo exhibition «Audrey Hepburn: Icône de l’élégance»

Members of our Book Club visited the photo exhibition «Audrey Hepburn: Icône de l’élégance» at the Musée Bolle — an exhibition dedicated to one of the most famous figures in world cinema and a true icon of elegance.

Through the photographs, we discovered Audrey Hepburn in many different moods: playful and light-hearted, thoughtful and reflective, open yet vulnerable. As we explored the exhibition, we discovered new chapters of her life and career and saw, behind the legendary image, a real person with her own emotions, dreams, and experiences.

We also enjoyed the works by the participants of the photo contest, who offered their own interpretations of Audrey Hepburn’s iconic image. It was fascinating to see how different modern interpretations of her image can be — and how much inspiration she continues to give people today.

But the warmest part of our gathering began after the tour. Over coffee and tea, we stayed together for a long time, sharing our impressions, talking about our favourite books, laughing, discussing things that matter to us, and simply enjoying good company and sincere conversations.

It is moments like these that inspired us to create our Book Club. It is not just a place to read and discuss books, but a community of people who want to discover new things, exchange ideas, inspire one another, and spend time together.
